Great source of vintage images

Here is a website that I have been using for a while. It is called Clipart etc and it has a great amount of etchings free of use. What is really great about this site is the fact that it has a great search engines. In addition, the images are groups by themes like People. Well I hope this will help you in your quest for great images.

I have found this great celestial maps on internet. And I wanted to share the link with you. This site has a lot of very high rez images. They are mostly maps of various sources. Since I'm doing the Zodiac series, I was mostly interested in the celestial map. Maybe I'll introduce some pieces to these images in color version. Could look interesting ?

Since I do mostly collages, I am always looking for images. And I use to buy a lot of books ( still do) and photocopy a lot of old encyclopedias. But now, internet has become a great source for me. With Project Gutenberg, WikiCommons and DeviantArt, there are many source of high resolution images available. But my favorite are online libraries. I strongly recommend the University of Wisconsin Digital collections. That's where I found the horses images used for the sagitarius illustration. Hope it helps !
